In challenging economic times, top-line growth is difficult and managing costs becomes an even greater strategic imperative. Real estate and related occupancy costs are one of the largest expense items for corporations; as a result, sourcing of these services often presents tremendous opportunity. However real estate services are very complex and span many functions including portfolio optimization, strategic occupancy planning, space allocation and utilization, transaction management, project management, facilities management, and even the provision of ancillary services in support of employee occupancy including switchboard, reception services, mail services, food services, fitness centers and a myriad of other support activities. CRE and Facilities Services sourcing can be complicated, time consuming and difficult. Nonetheless, tremendous savings and efficiencies can be garnered through a thoughtful and effective sourcing effort. This webinar will review essential strategies that, when properly implemented, will help ensure optimal results from your sourcing initiative.

There are a multitude of risks - operational, financial, technical, regulatory and more that supply chain managers are now responible to identify, measure, manage and mitigate. This session will focus on the steps that companies can take to classify and categorize risk to drive strategy and allocate resources. Participants will learn about different approaches to risk assessment and management that are being applied in real-life situations and how they can implement solutions to minimize corporate exposure cost effectively.
