Mergers, acquisitions, dispositions or spin-offs, as well as reductions in workforce change the scope of work or workload expectations. New regulations have wide ranging impacts on existing contracts. Restricted access to operating capital may affect the performance of service providers. All of these forces are driving companies to re-examine and renegotiate service contracts.
